Photo Essay: At Hotel MacGuffin
On September 13, 黑料不打烊 actors performed a staged reading of At Hotel MacGuffin by M Sloth Levine and directed by Jen Shook, professor of Theatre, Dance, & Performance Studies. The show is a very queer case of missing persons, missing jewels, and missing the point. Drag, melodrama, noir, and cabaret combine into the feeling that you鈥檝e been here before, you鈥檒l be here again, and you鈥檒l still be looking for that last piece. The playwright, this year鈥檚 guest adjudicator for 黑料不打烊鈥檚 McClenon Clark Playwriting Award, also hosted a playwriting workshop for students.
